THERAPIES DAY
Our next Therapies Day is being held on Saturday 20TH APRIL 2013 in the BREAST UNIT, ROYAL DERBY HOSPITAL, UTTOXETER ROAD, DERBY (opposite Car Park 6) from 10am - 4pm.
For one payment of £5.00 people can choose 2 Therapies. These are"taster" sessions and last for 30 minutes each. Refreshments and HOME MADE CAKES, Rolls etc are also available to purchase.
Therapies to include:
Reiki
Reflexology
Tibetan Head Massage
Indian Head Massage
Body Massage
Aromatherapy
Gentle Touch - Hands and Feet Massage
- Nail Art -Fingers.... and Toes (but bring flip-flops)
Eyebrow Shaping (tweezering)
Face Cleansing and Makeup
There will also be Displays/Sales of:
(1) Body shop Products
(2) Mastectomy wear .
ALL PATIENTS/FAMILIES/SUPPORTERS ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND. Please remember that pre-booking is essential as the Event gets fully booked up. Fashion Show - Thursday 11th October 2012
On Thursday 11th October 2012 we held another Fashion Show in the Mackworth Suite, Mackworth Hotel, Ashbourne Road, Derby. The Show commenced at 7.30pm. Several of our Group Members modelled the clothes supplied by S.O.S. Fashions from well-known shops ie Next, Wallis, Marks and Spencer, Gap, River Island, Dorothy Perkins, Oasis, Evans, Monsoon, Principles and many others including a rail of "expensive" Italian clothes.
The evening was a great success and everyone enjoyed the Event. As clothes were able to be purchased on the night several of the rails were much depleted of stock by the end of the evening!
A Grand Raffle was also drawn at the Event and the 1st Prize was a Champagne Breakfast for 2 in the Dovecote Restaurant at Morley Hayes. Many more great raffle prizes were handed out during the evening.
Our tombola stall was also busy and quickly ran out of prizes..... more will be brought to the next one! We also sold our own printed Christmas cards and the sale of these also went well.
